Poverty-racketeers vs. Trader Joe’s…

The moral of the story is never try to bring your business to a  poor black neighborhood  unless you’re willing to submit to blackmail and extortion by the local groups who claim to be protecting those who live there.   They are not protecting anything but their own asses and their power structure and wallets.   Good for Trader Joe’s for pulling out.  Now I just hope they push back against those who chased them out.
