Starbucks message…

Are we supposed to applaud Starbucks for asking its servers to write  something other  than patrons’ names on their cups?   “Come together?”   Is this meant as an homage to the Beatles,  or a message to Congress,  and if the latter,  why not something a hell of a lot more pointed and pungent?
