Bah, humbug indeed…

While most Americans are trying to find some peace and enjoyment in this Christmas season,  a few of the Grinch persuasion do their damnedest to  prevent it.  One woman  objects to  the Salvation Army’s bell ringers.  While most of us are trying to figure out  how to pay  for a bit of cheer,  some parents are claiming that Christmas  carols are  a form of bullying,  and others are terrified of allowing their children to see   “A Charlie Brown Christmas”  being  screened at  a church.

Some want to  steal the trappings  in lieu of purchasing their own,  some  steal for  profit,  and others deny our troops  care packages.  At least one woman is  using the season  for payback,  now legally permitted.   A Virginia town  shut down  a Christmas tree giveaway for violation of  “retail” regulations, and Rhode Island’s governor,  once a Republican,  but never much of one,  has declared that it ‘s a  “holiday tree”,  and there  is no tradition  in calling it a Christmas tree.

And MSM still insists there is no war on Christmas,  and by inference,  no war on Christians or Christianity.
