Pinching Germany…
If you don’t think the disappearing of the U.S. military matters, just consult the mayors of all the German towns already hit hard by the reduction of troops. Some of the others to be affected already know what’s coming.
The German government probably won’t say anything, for diplomatic reasons, but it surely sees the same risks Defense Secretary Leon Panetta vaguely admits to, while simultaneously claiming they don’t matter.

and the labor unions absolutely HATE it. Gov. Scott Walker had a plan and has implemented it, namely making union members pay more for their benefits. It has been an economic benefit, and has actually saved union jobs, not destroyed them as prophesied by every Democrat in the state and elsewhere. His thanks for his financial acumen and sensible policies has been to be subjected to a recall election. But the voters who have had to pay through the nose for the union’s lavish contracts have started to catch on. Help Walker out. And perhaps you can help get your own state out from under the heavy weight of union contracts.
