This column about  the new San Francisco/Oakland Bay bridge is why I loathe politicians,  and why I don’t trust government at any level.

Not sleepy…

Scientists have  discovered the gene  responsible for how long we sleep.   It’s not necessarily a pure blessing,  and not because we share the gene with fruit flies.   Now if they could find a way to disconnect the gene from heart problems and diabetes,  I could cut my sleep time down.
