This is a test…

You’ve probably seen the tv ads announcing the  first national test  of the emergency alert system.   The trouble is that the national test  won’t tell us anything  we don’t already know,  and the Obama Administration’s techno-sounding blather about needing to see which nodes if any fail is idiotic.   In most communities,  the fire alarm headquarters institutes the test and reports to a state collection point, so it’s not like any federal agency will instantly know what happened anywhere.
