False flags…
Is my memory failing? Back when the grand stimulus plan was being pushed, didn’t we hear about all the roads and bridges and other infrastructure that would be repaired, renewed, updated? Isn’t that where all the “shovel-ready” projects were?
Yeah, we know how that turned out. Now His Oneness has taken to the airwaves to promote yet another stimulus — for our aging infrastructure! Hunter Baker captures my mood perfectly, but without all the bad language which I used while hearing Obama’s pitch.
By the way, this points out one reason the original stimulus didn’t work. Of course, it wasn’t designed to actually put non-union workers to work, but to reward Obama’s money bags.
Chilean miners rescue…
Michelle Malkin has a live video link plus pictures of the rescue.
The miners remind us they had God with them, a view you’re not likely to see in the mainstream press here. Are you surprised that the world media is causing big problems as they report? CNN is live-streaming the rescue.
Promoting failure…
That’s the way in the Obama Administration, especially in the Justice Department, where lawyer Rebecca Wertz told an audience last February the DoJ would be very reluctant to litigate to force states to comply with a new law mandating that ballots be sent to military personnel abroad at least 45 days before Election Day.
Jurisdictions such as New York City and Westchester County. having been all but told there would be no consequences for blocking the ability of a conservative tending group, haven’t bothered to send out ballots. And Ms. Wertz has had her temporary promotion as the principal deputy chief of the Voting Section made permanent.
