Unintended consequences…

Before the Americans with Disabilities Act passed, 59.8% of disabled men were employed.   After its passage,  only 48.9% were employed.   John Stossel highlighted this startling fact several weeks  ago on his FOX News show.    Since then,  I have read the piece by Thomas Deleire  from which the statistics were drawn,  and I highly recommend it to you.

The road to hell is indeed often paved with good intentions.
