Christie vs press…
The more I see of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, the more I like him, especially when compared to His Oneness, who is ALWAYS setting up escape hatches and hasn’t the foggiest notion of how to govern. Watch him neatly slice and dice a reporter.
Holder huffs…
AG Eric Holder has been threatening Arizona with a lawsuit over its new immigration bill — which he hasn’t even read…..And American Thinker catches a truthful statement which will quickly be termed a misstatement.
I wonder if he has read anything the Civil Rights Commission has sent over on the Black Panthers voter intimidation case? Though I must say the varying excuses are so pathetic it’s hard to believe anyone else came up with them.
And as long as we’re picking on the AG, read this, and be sure to watch the embedded video. I say again, that if you will not name your enemies, you can not defeat them.
A speech unheard…
Hugh Hewitt writes the speech no Democrat will give to this year’s graduates. Of course, damned few Republicans would give it, either.
Gettin’ a job…
John Derbyshire points out how much easier it will be to get a government job now that applicants won’t have to complete knowledge skills and ability essays. They can just submit résumés and cover letters, making it simpler for federal agencies to obey the new directive of His Oneness on hiring even more workers. A Derb reader swears this really is an improvement. Maybe…
You can depress yourself by checking out some of the websites with information on federal salaries and pensions, or watch Will Cain and Derb talk about federal jobs here. More on salaries here. Oops! I forgot a good one.
The only jobs His Oneness is interested in fall into only two categories: government jobs, and union jobs. Saving labor was why auto manufacturers got bailed out and handed over to the unions, the group most likely to kill the goose laying golden eggs. Remember what unions did to the airlines?
