Missing link?
Ida is about to supplant Lucy as the most famous fossil, as scientists working in secret for 2 years claim that the newcomer is the missing link between monkeys and humans. It was supposedly discovered 25 years ago, encased in resin and hung on a collector’s wall.
Is Ida the common ancestor of all later monkeys, apes and humans? The resin makes me a tad suspicious, as does the general lack of information, but we shall see. I’m always skeptical of this sort of claim, because too many modern scientists, especially in the global arming/climate change community, display a certitude completely out of proportion to any evidence.
