Iranians change…

leave a comment »

When His Oneness was in the Oval Office,  Iranian patrol boats habitually harassed U.S. naval ships in the Persian Gulf,  correctly figuring they were in no danger that Barack Obama would actually retaliate,  even when they kidnapped U.S. Sailors and held them for ransom.

They are not so sure about Donald J. Trump,  and they probably suspect,  after seeing him unleash our military on ISIS,  that the rules of engagement and a lot else has changed.   They are probably correct about that as well.

A great deal has changed within Iran since     Maziar Bahari is an Iranian-Canadian journalist,  who was nearly twelve when Khomeini’s revolution triumphed. At the Oslo Freedom Forum last week,  Bahari touched on what it  was like  to grow up under the Ayatollah.   Only the mullahs will  shed a tear when they are gone.
