Giraffes in the snow…

It does look a bit strange to see African  animals wandering  around in the snow, even though that area of Western Cape of South Africa does experience the occasional cold freak.   No word from the warming hysterics on snow storms there and elsewhere in the world in September…

How big is Africa?

Very,  very, big,  as  this stunning  graphic  from The Economist shows.   You would think that with such a large land mass and a good number of natural resources,  this continent should have prospered.   Instead,  it is the poster child for the appalling detrimental effects of horrible governance.
