Never underestimate stupidity…

…it’s a bet you are almost certain to win.  People are free to make their own choices,  but I personally would not give my custom to a coffee shop which tells its customers  not to talk  to police and will not serve police “for the safety of”  its customers.   I hope someone will ask the owners when the last time was they heard of someone trying to rob a police station.

You know the owners are liberals,  because this is a classic “think happy thoughts and the bear will not eat you” mindset.  It is part of the family of liberal thought grounded in unicorns and rainbows instead of reality,  first cousin to the mindset of Obama and company which declared that violent, disruptive students should be treated with kid gloves instead of being turned over to law enforcement.  Yeah,  the Parkland shooting was the fault of liberal/progressive thinking,  as are a whole basket of other miseries in the world.

UPDATE:  The fools who run the Hasta Muerte coffee collective have expanded their  intolerance and stupidity.  Having been informed that the cop who so terrified them was there to promote and extend community policing efforts,  they are now whining that they are being unfairly victimized, so in the finest progressive tradition,  they are doubling down.   “We need the support of the actual community to keep this place safe, not police.   Especially in an area faced by drug sales and abuse,  homelessness,  and toxic masculinity as we see here on this block.”

Do these loons not realize that their “community’ by their own admission includes some rather unlovely folks?  By the way,  the Spanish expression is customarily ‘hasta la muerte’ and means ‘to death’ or ‘until death.” It is widely used as a gang tattoo.  It seems quite prophetic in that a new business seems unlikely to prosper with such an attitude…
