Piglet and emus, oh my!

with 2 comments

If your household includes a cute little piglet  (too bad it will grow up to be a hog) and a pair of baby emus,  you are  likely to  see them playing together,  mainly by chasing each other until the birds run out of steam. You will undoubtedly enjoy it enormously for the brief time it lasts until this part of your menagerie grows up.

But you never know  —  Big Girl is nearly ten now,  and when she has canid visitors,  she still offers to  play with them,  just as she does the neighbor’s cat when he wanders over.
