Hurricane Matthew…

Hurricane Matthew  is menacing  Florida and the Carolinas,  having dumped tremendous rain amounts on Haiti.   I wish no one anywhere ill fortune from this  nasty storm,  but I suspect most people in the very dry southeast wouldn’t mind if we picked up a few inches of rain from Matthew.   Late-season vegetables are suffering,  despite the moderately cooler temperatures,  my cherry trees are wilted,  even my tough fox grapes are unhappy.

By the way,  despite all the global warming/climate change/global weirding enthusiasts,  it has been 4,000 days since a major hurricane hit the U.S.
