Alligators in the streets…
Tropical storm Hermine dumped so much water in Bradenton , Florida that alligators were swimming down streets. Florida has borne the brunt of the on-again, off-again hurricane, with one reported dead, and hundreds of thousands without power.
South Carolina had a mere 21,000 residents without electricity in Hermine’s wake, and probably counts itself lucky. Virginia was under the gun last night, with the Navy heading out to sea and coastal residents bracing.
If Hermine strengthens into a hurricane again. residents of the East Coast can expect an unpleasant Labor Day. I am amazed that it took three whole days for the climate hysterics to blame global warming/climate change for the storm, despite Florida not having been hit by a hurricane for eleven years.
