An independent view on life.

Kenny Baker, R.I.P…

Kenny Baker,  the British actor who was R2-D2 in the Star Wars franchise,  has died  at age 81,  after a lengthy lung illness.   Of course,  he appeared in other productions,  but his legacy is for pulling the levers of the clever little droid which communicated only by beeps and whistles.   Judging by the story and pictures of the small in statue man,  he had a large sense of humor,  and was obviously a favorite with the other Star Wars cast members.
