Comey before Congress…

I was going to write about FBI Director Comey’s testimony before Congress,  but Chris White has encapsulated it  nicely here.   I didn’t watch all of it,  but I was flabbergasted to learn that Hillary wasn’t under oath when  the FBI interviewed her,  and that he didn’t want to use the gross negligence statute because DOJ thought it might be unconstitutional.   It isn’t job to determine constitutionality.  I’m afraid I nearly spilled my coffee when he was trying to wiggle out of saying that Hillary did anything “wrong.”  All I could think of was her adulterous husband saying it depended on what the meaning of “is” is.   His disinterest in whether she committed perjury was striking.  And he basically said she was not sophisticated enough to understand the markings on classified material.

Director Comey failed to clarify anything,  but he did prove to me he failed to do his job.
