Bad drug?

Are proton pump inhibitors,  such as Nexium,  safe?   Apparently they are if taken  short-term,  but long-term use can cause serious health problems.   Plainly more research needs to be done,  but if a short course of a PPI doesn’t fix your heartburn,  you should look at alternative treatments.

I’m fortunate in that I seldom suffer heartburn,  but when I do,  a small piece of candied ginger generally fixes the problem.   Most modern medicine is poison,  but can be very helpful .   I suggest you find a holistic health practitioner,  who will not have as narrow a field of expertise as many modern physicians do,  and may also have training in herbal medicine,  which can be not only useful,  but quite safe.  Do your health homework!
