Ink against explosives…

I am pleased to see that cartoonists around  the world are using their pens to express anger at the jihadists who blew up Brussels.   Many have used that city’s rebellious symbol,  the  Manneken-Pis,  the famous statue of a little boy urinating into a fountain,  by  placing a  terrorist of some form to receive the statue’s stream.

I would be far happier if Belgium and other EU nations  would protect their citizens more ably,  and stop providing tacit acceptance of the view of His Oneness that monthly slaughter is the  new normal  and should be acceptable to the populace.

I was no fan of the  Toronto mayor   who became famous for being caught smoking crack,  but cancer is a horrible disease,  and I feel sorry for anyone who suffers through the life-ending battle it so often is.
