I was not a fan of  this former  United nations Secretary General,  despite his having played a part in negotiating the Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel.   Of course,  I’m not a fan of the UN itself,  with its insane bureaucracy and corruption and countless failures to achieve anything other than producing meaningless statements and reams of wasted paper.   Aaron Goldstein has a point when he says his replacement was worse.   The future ones will probably also be worse.   Depressing…
