Mighty Mississippi…

The Mississippi River is  causing a   heck of a lot of trouble,  and it’s only beginning,   because what is inundating Illinois and Missouri now will work its way down South until all the excess water finally reaches the Gulf of Mexico.   I’m fortunate,  because I don’t live in a flood plain,  but many do,  and they need to stay aware and focused,  and have an action plan for evacuation which can be carried out on a moment’s notice.

The Deep South is already experiencing some local flooding and road wash-outs,  so we need to be prepared for what is to come.   Be smart by being careful — if you can’t see through a pool of water,  do not assume the road is still beneath it!
