Rudeness contagious?

with 2 comments

Researchers have found that rudeness  is contagious,  much like a virus.   This makes sense to me,  especially when you consider how often the behavior of a crowd tends to be that of the worst elements within that crowd.   We humans are a nasty lot,  aren’t we?

  1. The internet has brought rudeness to a new level. People are very brave when facelessly (is that a word?) calling people names and generally being insulting. You’d never act that way to someone face-to-face.

  2. How true! That is one reason I never say anything here that I haven’t or wouldn’t say face-to-face.
