The double-hulled Polynesian  voyaging canoe  going around the world recently arrived in  Cape Town,  South Africa,  marking the mid-point of its journey around the globe.   What makes the journey even more remarkable is that the crew is navigating the old-fashioned way,  without modern equipment.   I view them as about half crazy,  but I bow to their skills and determination.   Paddle on!
