Art in mechanics…

I’ve long thought the art world takes itself far too seriously,  and am always amused when some museum hesitantly cleans a painting and discovers that the dark and somber tones were the accumulation of dirt hiding the original brighter colors.

Now a photographer has produced the Renaissance Series,  a truly gifted parody of some of the  most famous  works of the period,  featuring auto shop workers in an old auto shop.   It’s funny,  tongue-in-cheek,  and quite delicious.
