Time for Thorns

An independent view on life.

Maureen O’Hara, R.I.P.

The strong-willed,  independent Irish actress who portrayed many strong-willed,  independent women in films,  has died  at age 95.   Her red hair and vivid green eyes,  paired with a pale complexion,  helped win her fame,  but not an Oscar (except an honorary one),  but she was as talented as she was feisty.   No whining from this lady as you hear from too many Hollywood stars these days.   She did the best that she could with the talents she possessed,  and lived a full,  rich life she must have been proud of.
