Who killed the Red Baron?

leave a comment »

An  eye-witness account  describing the final moments of the fearsome German flyer known as the Red Baron has emerged for sale nearly 100 years after the event,  and it differs from the official account given by the Canadian government.

The bare truth is probably that several people in several different airplanes contributed to the downing of German air ace Manfred von Richthofen,  and there will never be a totally definitive answer.
