Jersey Devil?

leave a comment »

Did this man actually take  a photo  of the infamous Jersey Devil?   I’m intrigued,  but I have no idea.  I would say that the original Jersey Devil tale,  based on tracks leading through the snow, over a wall and onto and off of a roof,  were bipedal hoof prints,  not those of a quadruped.

Early Native Americans called the area  “place of the dragon”,  and later Swedish explorers named it Drake Kill (drake is “dragon”, and kill means “stream” in Dutch),  but the tales about it being the deformed 13th child of a woman are 20th Century fabrications.
