Morsi falls…

The Egyptian military has  removed Morsi  from office and suspended the Egyptian Constitution while announcing a transitional government.   This  is not  what the Washington Post recommended.

Happily,  this means His Oneness will not get to send troops,  armed or  not,   as  riot police  to prop up Morsi,  and it’s uncertain whether there will be any international  peacekeeping force.   The Christians and secularists did not heed  Obama’s order,  and fired back  at Obama,  aware that  his claims  (h/t Andrew McCarthy at The Corner)  to support democracy and the rule of law were hollow.
