Reactions to Nobel…

leave a comment »

Oh, the  humility our Glorious Leader has displayed in announcing his decision to graciously accept the Nobel Peace Price, along with the million bucks which comes with it.  Of course, the money has nothing to do with this “call to action.”   Obama is  honored to be among “transformative leaders” —  gee, like Arafat, Carter,   Mohammed el-Baradei,  and literary liar Rigoberta Menchu Tum?

The UK  Times thinks His Oneness will be deeply embarrassed by the award.   I can’t imagine why they believe it is possible to embarrass this politician!

Former Polish President Lech Walesa,  as has so often been the case over the years,  gets it exactly right.     Reuters has the perfect quote,  and it’s from a lady in Manhattan,  no less.

Obama wins Nobel Prize…

leave a comment »

His Oneness becomes the third sitting president to win a Nobel, joining Wilson and Carter.   Obama  won for giving the world  “hope for a better future” and striving for nuclear disarmament.

Remember that the nominations closed TWO WEEKS after Obama moved into the White House.   One of the FOX morning team guys said he won for “not being Bush”,  which is absolutely correct.   That’s why Al Gore won his,  but he was also promoting global warming,  which  is the UN’s preferred excuse for taking over the world.

If anyone still labored under the impression that the Nobel Prize for anything other than science represented true distinction,  this should cure them of that fantasy.   I lost all respect for the award when that old Palestinian terrorist,  Yasser Arafat,  got one.
