Reality hits a liberal…

Read how a Democratic health-care speech  writer gets run over by the reality of  universal health care.

If you don’t get off the couch and start calling Congress,  this is where you’ll be,  and you’ll have to pay a fine you can’t afford for not having the health insurance you can’t afford.

Then get onto your governor,  because state budgets are going to be bankrupted in short order by the additional Medicare and Medicaid costs,  and that will be an additional tax on you.

The art of target selection…

leave a comment »

The first order of business for any criminal is picking the correct victim.  That’s true whether you’re a con man,  a purse-snatcher,  a murderer — or a pirate.

Choosing unwisely often leads to unpleasant consequences for the perp,  like the stupid teenager who grabbed my purse in a mall years ago.   Yes,  I kicked off my high heels and in my business suit ran him down and tackled him,  and  was in the process of “explaining” to him why picking on 30+ women was a bad idea when the mall cops came and rescued him.

Even the French navy makes a bad target under certain conditions.
