The Obama Olympics…

leave a comment »

Are the Obamas not the most  self-reverential couple you have ever seen,  even when compared to the Clintons?

And where did the First Lady get the notion that “some” think she made a  sacrifice to go do Mayor Daly’s bidding so the Chicago Machine members can profit from all the property they have bought up at the prospective venues?   Perhaps that’s the opinion of her staff of 23 ?   And why does she need so many people?   It’s not as if Michele is doing 7 times as much as Laura Bush and therefore needs 7 times as many staffers.

His Oneness also  spoke to the IOCC.   I nearly spit my coffee out when he said  “…faithful representative of the United States…”

UPDATE:  CNN just announced that Chicago was voted out on the first round,   followed by Japan in the second.   Now it’s between Rio and Madrid.

UPDATE:  And the winner is Rio!

Forest Service vs Jesus…

My irritation with government  bureaucrats knows no bounds,  and this doesn’t help.    Is this the group of people you want designing and overseeing your health care?

Health-care Hell…

Don’t be fooled by the hits Democrats have taken on the health care debate.    I agree with the  analyst who thinks they will cram through a bill,  regardless of public sentiment.

The link  to the Human Events article is  here if you’d rather go straight to it.

If you have a Democratic Congress critter,  burn up the phone line.  This is not about health care, or reform.    This is a power grab,  pure and simple.    47% of Americans pay no income tax.    Democrats have worked furiously for decades to raise that number to over 50%,  figuring that the non-payers will consistently vote against those who pay.     That would result in a permanent Democratic majority,  not only in Congress,  but in the states as well.

There are a few other options,  but the best by far is to put so much pressure on the Fools on the Hill that they become afraid of we the people.     Remember it was Lenin who first implemented “free universal health care.”    He considered it one of his crowning achievements,  which led to everything else.

Another promise bites the dust

Democrats have  killed the Republican amendment to  exempt middle-class families from the mandate taxes proposed in the Baucus health reform bill.     What further proof does anyone need to be convinced that there will be mandates and taxes on the middle class and anyone else who might have a few pennies?

Campaign promises don’t mean much when your real goal is to have the federal government acquire control of a sixth of the economy.    Of course, with the brilliance of Obama’s economic policies,  there won’t be any middle class left to be worried about.

Go  here for some memory checks on His Oneness and taxes.
