ACORN garbage…
Despite the unintentional hilarity of this ACORN stunt, the outfit still poses a great danger, and not just via voter fraud..
From Greece to America?
Denis Boyles has an excellent post about the protesters in Greece — and be sure to read the comments section for some truly amazing stuff.
And if you believe such protests won’t come here, even with ACORN and SEIU and all the other progressive mobs controlled by the Democrats, consider that we are raising a huge crop of them in places like the Chicago public school system. As you sow, so shall you reap…
ACORN-buster tax-exempt…
I was delighted to learn that James O’Keefe, who with Hannah Giles busted ACORN, has secured tax-exempt status for his nonprofit citizen journalism group Project Veritas.
Considering the plethora of lefty non-profits, I’m in favor of anything which helps balance the scales a bit.
Speaking of ACORN, there is a great book out by investigative journalist Matthew Vadum — you can read a review of SUBVERSION INC. here.
An ACORN falls…
One of the biggies in ACORN voter fraud is finally sentenced. But don’t think this means the problem is solved. ACORN has new names and new places and can be counted on to either deliver fraudulent signatures and voter fraud or to overwhelm a system so that they sneak in. After all, His Oneness is depending on them for 2012.
You know it’s real…
when the New York Times rushes out a piece claiming voter fraud and even voter registration fraud, just really isn’t a problem, and that ACORN is defunct. ACORN is very much alive and causing trouble.
Vote security is a joke, made even more so by a three-judge which just threw out Arizona’s law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. There are other problems in Arizona as well. (h/t Jim Geraghty) The problems in Nevada are not problems, according to the Secretary of State, who’s — surprise! — a Democrat.
Canada Free Press is certainly taking note. Isn’t it odd that all the errors accrue to the benefit of Democrats? Michelle Malkin adroitly explains why the left is using gallons of whitewash to hide the truth.
Now there are allegations in Pennsylvania. A Daytona Beach City Commissioner has been arrested for absentee ballot fraud in his own recent successful campaign. American Majority Action has just put out a new app for your mobile device to “help identify, report and track suspected incidents of voter fraud and intimidation.” Alert, attentive Republican poll watchers are causing howls of outrage and claims of intimidation and harassment.
But leave it to Rush Limbaugh to ask the real question, which is — can Democrats cheat enough to win next Tuesday?
Boiling over…
Peggy Noonan thinks we are at risk of boiling over. She makes a number of good points, as she usually does, but I know very few people who are fearful, and very many who are mad as hell. Yeah, I’m one of them, and I’m angrier than most because I’ve lived long enough, and even spent enough time in D. C., to know that politicians at every level are hogs at the trough. There are damned few exceptions.
I submit that America is already boiling over. His Oneness would be quite pleased if the fury took to the streets and behaved like his buddies at S.E.I.U. and ACORN, but the Tea Party is composed mostly of sensible, mature citizens who value civility. They are also not stupid, and as countless homemade signs attest, they wield a powerful sense of humor.
ACORN 2.something….
This is delicious. Of course, the favorite community disruption unit of His Oneness won’t actually go out of business, but will instead change its name and lie low until organizations not named ACORN pass on some more stimulus money to it.
ACORN is naturally vigorously denying this, sort of.
House financial reform…
While the rest of us were scurrying around to prepare for Christmas, the House side of the Fools on the Hill passed a financial reform bill which is almost as bad as the health care reform bill, but is slightly more comprehensible.
Steven Spruiell at The Corner provides a quick take which insures you’ll know enough about it to hope it doesn’t survive the Senate.
Was ACORN lying?
ACORN sniffed dismissively that federal funds constituted only a fraction of its income. So why has it filed suit against the government for stopping those funds?
I’d be more interested in finding out who encouraged the criminal enterprise to file the suit, which, given the sorry state of our judiciary, may succeed. Did His Oneness send word to his favorite community organizing group?
ACORN lied…again…
Remember all of ACORN’s claims that James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles were thrown out of the Philadelphia office? Did you believe them? If not, you were right, since there’s new video showing what really happened at the Philly office.
